CranioDsgn ™ shared an incredible post on their Behance profile. It's titled 60s and 70s Illustrations and as you can already imagine, it's super stylish illustration artworks with that look and feel of those decades.
Let's take a look at the work from Ladislas Chachignot who is an illustrator, digital painter, and creator of the Citizens of the Jungle Illustration Series. What is it? Well, it's a series of portraits illustrating our lost connection towards nowadays strong resistance of technology and our initial primitive "wilderness". First of all, I truly love the variety of colors used throughout this series and utterly more knowing its signification. As I quote: "our inner struggle to free ourselves from this connected world that is taking more and more space in our everyday life." It's beautifully said just like the concept of this entire collection. Props to Ladislas, really proud seeing this accomplishment on ABDZ.
In this series of illustrated portraits “Citizens Of The Jungle”, the goal is to question about our place as humans in the world. We do concentrate more and more in the cities and progressively losing the connection between nature and or initial primitive “wildness” and “freedom” as we fall more and more on a “Digital and 24/7 connected” way of living.
